A Day Full of Celebrating!

My husband and I went home this weekend, that's right back to good ol' West Virginia.  The reason for our visit...a 4 year old birthday party and a baby dedication!  The proud parents are Doug's sister and brother-in-law.  They have two beautiful little girls, Kelsey the birthday girl, and Kayla the newest addition.  It was a wonderful day celebrating another year with Kelsey and the new life that the Lord has blessed us all with... Kayla.  It's still hard for me to believe that I am now at the point in my life where I am the doting aunt watching her nieces move through their mild-stones.  Birthdays were always such a big deal in my family, every one was filled with lots of family, lots of laughter, and lots of craziness.  But I loved it!!!  God new exactly what he was doing when he created the family unit.  My happiest moments are when I am surrounded by my loud crazy family.  Even though Doug and I have moved away, I still look forward to all of our family "get to togethers."  They are a huge part of my life and I can't wait to continue this tradtion with my own children some day!
